Two New York Intellectuals small talking at a party: one to the other:
"Listen, I've written an
essay, against antisemitism." –
"Did you ? Nice. I prefere a bat." - Woody Allen
More than once we have been asked by friends and other fnb groups from outside of Germany what exactly
is our position on Israel, Anti-Semitism, Anti-Americanism and other related issues. In many cases this question
is much more a sign of bewilderment how we can be not part of the Anti-Israeli international, than it is a
sign of real interest. Nevertheless, we started a discussion with Malmö (Sweden) fnb that is documented
here. As there seems to be a lack of readable position papers in English we recommend a few more textes that do
not necessarily reflect our exact position but a worthwhile reading anyway.
This is our almost invisible voice against the mass propaganda on indymedia by Latuff and other Anti-Zionist
groups and inviduals.
Please send counter arguments, congratulations and hate mail to fnb-koeln (at) infoladen.net
Text by Dr. Matthias Küntzel, a political scientist and author of the book "Djihad und Judenhass.
Über den neuen antijüdischen Krieg" (Djihad and Hatred of Jews. On the New Anti-Jewish War).
Some findings of this paper were first presented in his Keynote Address at the conference on
"Genocide and Terrorism - Probing the Mind of the Perpetrator", April 11, 2003 at Yale University,
New Haven.
What kind of ideology pushed the 9/11 perpetrators into acting the way they did? Information from the first
trial, of a core member of the Hamburg al Qaida cell which took place between October 2002 and February 2003 in
Hamburg, Germany gives a crucial answer to this question.

Position paper by a German internationalist group that was handed out during the ESF in Paris 2003 and led to severe attacks and exclusion of the authors.
Hardly any other subject has caused so much controversy among critics of globalisation as the Middle East conflict.
“Solidarity with the Palestinian people” and condemnation of Israel dominated the ESF in Florence 2002 as well as in Porto Alegre 2003.
But is it that simple?

The author Loolwa Khazzoom, a Jewish feminist of Iraqui-American descent who lives in Israel and is director of the "Jewish
MultiCulture Project", describes the ancient roots of this conflict and why it is wrong and ignorant to perceive
Israel as a society in the tradition of White colonialism and apartheid. We do not share the author's implication
that if Israel was white - and white only - its right to exist would have to be discussed differently.
The legitimation to hold a safe space for European holocaust survivors is not any weaker than the one to
have a home for people of Jewish belief who lived there for centuries.
When people around the world hear about the conflict between Israelis
and Palestinians, they assume that Israelis are white European
oppressors and Palestinians are indigenous people of colour being taken
over and kicked out of their native home.
